the program has been led by legendary coaches over the years…

Bernie Megin

1941–1961

Coach Megin led Concord HS for 20 years and included the aforementioned historical unbeaten streak (which also included the 2nd longest winning streak in Massachusetts history with 40 wins), two Piedmont Bowl Appearances in North Carolina, and several league titles.  Megin’s superbly orchestrated and creative “Delaware Wing-T” attack (the basic set that the program used for more than 60 years) made Concord a tough team to beat. The notable 1946 squad went 9-0-0 and outscored opponents 427-12.

Al robichaud

1972–1990

Coach Robinchaud led the Patriots to a 1978 Super Bowl title and several DCL championships during his lengthy run as head coach from 1972 to 1990.  In 2002, Coach Robichaud was elected to the Massachusetts Football Coaches Hall of Fame and later into the Concord Carlisle Athletic Hall of Fame.

Dick Kerr

1991–2009

Coach Kerr consistently had strong teams, culminating in a DCL title in his final season at the helm in 2009. A longtime teacher at CCHS, Kerr also coached the freshman team for several years under head coach Al Robichaud and was the head coach of the Concord-Carlisle Lacrosse program from 1987 to 1993, including for the 1987 State Champion squad.

mike robichaud

2010–2019

Mike, a 1982 CCHS graduate and CC football alumnus, led the Patriots to several DCL titles and two Super Bowl appearances, including a 2011 Super Bowl title with a 42-9 win over Oliver Ames.
